Today was our last day in Florence. I was pretty excited to leave. I felt like I had seen most of the city and was definitely ready for a new place to stay. We had the morning to ourselves so Julia and I went out and took more pictures and shopped some more. We then had to get to the train station. While we were waiting for our trian the Italian police came up to our group and demanded to see our postcards. It was really scary ha. But they jus said it was a normal routined check. I'm not so sure I believe them. I still think they were a part of the Italian mafia or something, and they were writing down all of our information.
We finally got on the train. It was about a 2-3 hour ride, but I was so so tired so I slept most of it, which was nice. We got to Venice at about 4:00 or so in the afternoon.
