7/10/09 -- Textile Firms

Today was so cool. We got up early and dressed up to go to the textile firms. The first one we went to was called Rubelli. Their showroom was beautiful! It was in an old Renaissance castle and had the prettiest view. Rubelli's fabrics were absolutely gorgeous, and the people that worked there were so nice. They gave us a history of the company and then let us look around at all their fabrics. They were so pretty. The company had a lot of left over peices fabrics from their projects that they were selling. I bought a piece that they had used on one of their projects. It is so pretty! I'm excited to go home and make a throw pillow. After Rubelli we walked around and took pictures and got some time for lunch so Julia and I went to the grocery store and had some Jam on bread ha. They do not sell peanut butter in Italy. All there is is Nutella and I get really tired of chocolate on everything.
