Going to the Louvre was a dream come true. It's something I've been hearing about since I was very little so I was extremely excited to see it. As you walk up to the Louvre there is an archway and through the archway you can see I.M. Pei's pyramid. When I saw this view I was so pumped! The pyramid is breathtaking and it adds so much to the whole feeling of the museum and the palace itself. We took pictures outside of it for awhile and then headed inside of the museum. The museum itself wasn't my favorite part. It is very crowded and so large it's impossible to see everything in one trip. I went to the Mona Lisa and was dissappointed. It is the smallest painting in the entire museum I swear. There are so many people around it and there is so much bullet proof glass that you can barely even see what's going on. My favorite thing in the Louvre though was the Winged Victory. It's this huge sculpture of a women with wings that is standing upon a cliff reaching towards the sky. I thought it was very inspiring.
