We all climbed onto the bus at about 2:00 and headed for Fountainebleu. I'm so tired all of the time these days that I slept the entire ride! It took us about an hour or more to get there. Apparrantly the drive was very beautiful but I missed almost of all it because I was sleeping. Anyway, we got to the palace and it was so pretty! Nothing insanely massive as Versailles, I'm not saying that it was small, but in comparison to Versailles it was realatively small in size.
Fountaineblu was the main palace for the royals. Although Versailles was the capitol and the main palace, they spent most of their time in Fountainebleu. It is a beautiful palace. Very ornately decorated and large paintings and murals in every room. My favorite part of this palace was the large library that Louis XV built for his wife. It was a long corridor that extended at least the length of a football field. It was extrordinary. I'm guessing that my little sister would be loving life. The gardens outside were just as pretty as the other chateau's. I really enjoyed Fountainebleu.
